Originally from Super Super Doughnuts from Make a Mix cook book by Eliason, Westover and
2 cups (add more to make a non stivky dough you can scoop out with an ice cream scoop) Bisquick heart healthy or regular
1/4 cup sugar
2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 spoon ground nutmeg
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract or almond extract
Mix all ingredients in a Kitchen Aid mixer on low speed with the paddle.
Heat in a fryer or cooker with a thermostat, canola oil to fry in.
On a plate scoop out dough balls with ice cream scoop that is 1/2 cup capacity.
Poke a hole in the dough balls with the end of a round tipped wooden spoon, and set aside.
Fry two or three Churro Nuts at a time, turning with a slotted spoon when browned on each side.
Drain on paper towel lined plates.
Sprinkle with cinnamon and powdered sugar.
