Cinnamon Sugar Crisps

Flour tortillas
Confectioners Sugar
Cinnamon

Shortening or canola or corn oil to fry on and a fryer or other appliance set to 400 degrees.

Tongs

Plates covered with paper towels


Fry tortilla in hot oil a few minutes on each side, turning a few times with long tongues, very carefully, until crisp.

Move to plate covered with paper towels and let drain for about 20 minutes, sprinkle with powdered sugar and cinnamon several times, and put on plate to serve.

These we’re good with coffee or cocoa.
