I adapted a recipe I found in a Bisquick cookbook. I used the heart healthy Bisquick that’s made with canola oil and so much lighter.
I added some Mrs. DASH CHIPOTLE SEASONING to a combination of:
2 cups Heart healthy Bisquick
1 large egg
1 cup milk. I use the 2% because it has enough fat in it to still taste like milk.
A just added about a half teaspoon of the Chipotle salt free seasoning. You could also add some other seasoning too.
Mix all ingredients in a medium size bowl.
Meanwhile, preheat oven to 400 degrees.
Grease a 9 by 9 inch square pan with nonstick spray.
Pour carefully half of the batter into the greased square pan. Then, take 5 ounces of honey roasted, deli style sliced turkey and spread it out over the batter. Take as much cheddar cheese as you would like or you could use Swiss cheese or Munster cheese would both be good here. Then I used some elastic deli kosher pickles that are sliced and I put a couple of those across it, almost like I was making lasagna and putting Mozzarella on it.
Add some Best Foods Chipotle Mayonnaise and spread around carefully on top of all the sandwich fillings.
Lastly, poured remaining biscuit bread dough on top of all of the lunch meats then spread it around.
Bacon 400 degrees in about 30 minutes and check it, to see if it’s slightly browned on top. If it’s not done in 30 minutes put it in for another five and keep checking it till its done.
Everybody’s oven cooks differently and they all cook at different levels.
I hate to say a certain time. In recipes as basically done when it’s done but it looks done!
