The How To:

All you do to make the Saffron Curried Rice is take 2 cups long grain rice and 4 cups water,
2 cloves minced garlic, 2 teaspoons Delish Curry powder & about 1/4 teaspoon salt, and 2 to 4 saffron threads.

1 tablespoon extra-virgin olive oil

-If you own a mortar and pestle, you can put the tiny red Saffron threads in it and pulverize them so they dissolve in the rice easier. The rice will come out great either way.
If making the rice in a skillet or large stock pot, I swear by a non stick one. Also you can spray non stick spray in your pan and the rice won’t stick.

Add all to a either a rice cooker and cook for 25 minutes, until the water is absorbed
You can cook it in a pan on the stove as well, just watch the pan and when the rice comes to a simmer, make sure you turn the heat down so that you don’t burn the bottom of the rice!

You can add slivered almonds on top the rice or serve it with chicken and seafood dishes.
