Sweet Quick Bread Mix (SQBM)

Once you make this, you’ll love it so much you’ll give it to your friends for them to make breads and muffins with too!
Just make sure and give him all the recipes with it.

It will make it easy for you to whip a whole variety of muffins, quick breads or snack cakes will little work.

The carrot orange bread takes three and three fourth cups of the mix-figure about 4 cups of mix for every bread recipe.

Make up your own recipes by using this easy mix too. If you don’t see the flavor additions you like, and just simply had them. And just in the other flavors if necessary.

The How To:

6 cups 100% whole-wheat flour and 6 cups unbleached all-purpose flour

2 tablespoons each of baking powder and baking soda

3 cups each of granulated sugar and brown sugar

Once all the dry ingredients are incorporated with the wire Whisk on the KitchenAid mixer attachment, add 1-1/2 cups of canola oil bit by bit, and the mixer will blend in perfectly as though it was bought.

I mixed all the ingredients in the order presented in my KitchenAid mixer Bowl. I then attached the wire whisk attachment and put the machine on level 1 The mixer does it all and when you use the wire whip intended for egg whites. It worked outstanding.

Just put in a 24 cup container and you can use for a variety of 8 different recipes that I will outline plus countless you’ll make up. I adapted it from a recipe from Make-A-Mix by Harward, Westover, and Eliason. If you like making things from scratch then get the book because it’s outstanding. My first book fell apart and I got the newest printing which has about I don’t know close to 100 Post-it notes on it.

All of these can be back today either cupcakes, snack cake or a bread loaf, adjusting the baking times accordingly.

Banana Nut Bread

Cran-Apple Ancient Grain Breakfast Muffins

Zucchini Bread or Muffins

Carrot Orange Bread or Muffins

Date nut Bread or Muffins

Pumpkin bread or Muffins

Spicy Applesauce Bread or Muffins

The recipes for all those that will be included, are from a fabulous book called “More Make a Mix Cookbook” by Eliason, Westover and Hawvard from
HP books in Tucson, Arizona.

When my cook book comes out I would love to see HP books publish my step by step photo cook book. I probably have about a hundred HP Books, all extraordinary, and it would be great to see my personal best published by them too. They’re located where I was born in Tucson, Arizona too!
