Molasses Cookies Made with Quick Mix

2 cups Quick Mix
1/4 cup sugar
1/2 teaspoon each of cinnamon and ground ginger
1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
1 egg yolk
1/2 cup molasses
sugar

In a medium Bowl, combine quick mix comma 1/4 cup sugar, cinnamon, Ginger, and cloves. Mix well.

Combine egg yolk and molasses in a small bowl and add to the dry mixture and blend well. Refrigerate at least 1 hour.
Preheat oven to 375 degrees and lightly grease baking sheets or use parchment paper.

Shape into one and a half inch balls.

Place on a prepared baking sheet or parchment lined baking sheet, and then flatten each ball with the bottom of a glass dipped in sugar or your hand- and sprinkle with sugar.

Bake about 10 minutes, until edges are browned. This will make about 30 cookies.
