Golden Corn Bread Made With Quick Mix

2 cups Quick Mix
6 tablespoons cornmeal
2/3 cup sugar
2 eggs or 1/2 cup egg substitute
1 cup milk or soy milk or water
1/4 cup melted butter or margarine

Prepare honey butter which consists of 1 cup butter to soften to mix with one of the four cups honey.

Butter a 9-inch Square baking pan.

Pre-heat your oven to 350 degrees.

Mix all ingredients and blend the eggs with milk in a small bowl and then add all of the wet ingredients to the dry.

Blend  thoroughly

Add the melted butter or margarine and stir to blend.

Fill prepared pan and bake 35 to 40 minutes until golden brown and tests done in the center.

Cut into two and a half inch squares and serve hot with honey butter.

This makes about 8 to 10 servings.
