You want to make time to easily make this breakfast parfait that you can custom fit any way you like. The great thing about it is that you can go to Whole Foods Market, Trader Joe’s, Walmart or any other supermarket- and put these things in your shopping cart.
Greek yogurt or vanilla yogurt
Low-fat granola or homemade granola take your choice and there’s lots of them! There are hundreds you can pick for from.
Your taste buds should never get bored.
Your choice of fresh fruit in season such as strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, peaches, oranges, apples or bananas.
Orange flower honey or your favorite kind of honey- or don’t use any.
Dried cherries or raisins or dates.
Sliced almonds, walnuts or pecans
Organic unsweetened coconut flakes
You can make this and take it with you. Just add layers of yogurt, in a pafrait glass or bowl -and you have a super easy, never boring, no prep breakfast that should wake you up and make you happy you opened your eyes!
If you use Greek yogurt and use one cup of it you’ll be getting about 20 grams of protein and lots of potassium. I use Trader Joe’s brand which is one of the best.
