I chose Dole Shreds which consists of shredded romaine lettuce.
Then I added a few tablespoons of Paul Newman‘s Sesame ginger reduced–fat dressing which only has 35 calories per 2 tablespoons and is awesome flavored.
I just drizzled some of that on to the slaw mix and mixed it in the gallon size bag.
Nothing to clean up, which with as busy as I have been lately, that’s a good thing.
I didn’t even use a bowl I just poured it all the dressing in the freezer bag and took a spatula inside there and mixed it in the bag.
Other additions that I would add if they were in the house are edamame, onion, diced red pepper, and you can add some fresh ginger, thinly sliced almonds and even garlic.
To garnish this easy and versatile salad you could add some Wonton strips for garnish.
I served the slaw with Ling Ling’s Organic Chicken Potstickers.
This is a great and easy way to eat more vegetables and the great thing is it tastes fantastic!
